Dead on Arrival (DOA) Claims:

If your product arrives damaged or defective, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery. Please contact us immediately with your order number and photographic evidence of the damage or defect.

Resolution Options:

For verified DOA claims, we will work with you to provide one of the following resolutions:

Full replacement of the damaged or defective item at no additional cost, including shipping

Full refund to your original payment method

Partial refund or store credit if you choose to keep the item with minor cosmetic damage

The resolution option will be determined based on product availability, the nature of the damage, and your preference.

Return Process for DOA Items:

If a return is required, we will provide a prepaid return label or arrange pickup at no cost to you. You will not be responsible for return shipping costs for damaged or defective items.

Warranty Limitations:

This limited warranty covers manufacturing defects and shipping damage only. It does not cover:

Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or improper assembly

Normal wear and tear

Damage caused after delivery

Products modified or repaired by unauthorized parties

Timeframe:

DOA claims must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery. Claims submitted after this window may not be eligible for warranty coverage and will be handled under our standard Returns & Refund Policy (30-day return window).

Inspection:

We reserve the right to inspect returned items to verify the defect or damage before issuing replacements or refunds.

Before Shipment:

If you wish to cancel your order before it ships, please contact us immediately at info@sofanook.com or call +1 248-935-1526. We will make every effort to accommodate your cancellation request, but we cannot guarantee cancellation once order processing has begun.

Orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days. Orders placed before 6:00 PM Central Standard Time on business days may be processed the same day. The sooner you contact us, the better chance we have of stopping your order before shipment.

After Shipment:

Once your order has shipped and you have received a tracking number, it cannot be cancelled. At this point, you have two options:

Refuse delivery when the carrier attempts delivery. The package will be returned to us, and we will process a refund once received, minus any non-refundable shipping charges if applicable.

Accept delivery and initiate a return within 30 days following our Returns & Refund Policy. You will be responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error.

Refunds for Cancelled Orders:

If your cancellation is successful before shipment, a full refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.
